 Burlington NC is highly interconnected with the
rest of the North Carolina Triad region, other
parts of the state, and other metropolitan
regions in the north and southeast. Home to an
extensive freeway network that is constantly
under going expansion, the Piedmont Triad
International Airport, and an Amtrak station in
Burlington that connects the Carolinian and
Piedmont Train with the cities of New York,
Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washing, Richmond,
Raleigh and Charlotte, Burlington North Carolina

(PART) which is the North Carolina Triad
region's 10 county regional transportation
resource. It provides services to residents in
the 10 counties with transportation to the
Piedmont Triad International Airport and the
area's various medical facilities and schools.
